Ambaji Rocks & Minerals

We are located in the Idco Area in Kesinga, which is part of the Kalahandi district. Ambaji Rocks & Minerals is our business. We work with a lot of different materials that come out of the ground. Being in the Idco Area means we are surrounded by other industrial shops, so it’s always loud and there’s always something moving around. We spend our time sorting through rocks and minerals. It is dirty work and your hands are rarely clean. Kesinga is a place where people work hard, and we are no different. We don't have a polished showroom. Most of our inventory is just sitting outside or in the shed. We get a lot of local people coming by, and sometimes people from further away in Kalahandi. The weather here can be really tough, especially the heat in the summer months, but the work has to continue regardless of the temperature. We load up the trucks and send out the orders as they come in. It’s a simple process of getting the rocks, processing them a bit, and then selling them to whoever needs them for their project. We’ve been here long enough that we don’t really think about the dust anymore. It's just part of the daily routine at Ambaji Rocks & Minerals. We just try to do an honest day's work and hope for the best. It’s a long day, but we are used to the pace by now.
