Sri Venkata Sai Clinic

Our clinic is right on the Main Road here in Gurmitkal. If you know Gulbarga, you know these roads can get pretty busy with tractors and buses. We are located right in the middle of it all. The building is a simple structure with a small sign out front. Inside, it is mostly just the basics, a waiting area and the consultation room. We spend our time managing the flow of people coming in from the surrounding areas. Since it is the main road, we get a lot of walk-ins who are just passing through town. The floors are stone, which keeps things a little cooler when the Gulbarga sun is beating down outside. We have a small desk where we keep all the files. They are mostly paper records tucked into folders. It takes a bit of time to find things sometimes, but we know our system. It is a local place, and most of the people who come in speak the local language and tell us about their farms or their families while they wait. We do not have a receptionist in a suit or anything like that. It is just a straightforward clinic where we try to help folks with whatever is bothering them. The evenings are usually the busiest when people are done with their work for the day. We just keep the lights on until the last person is seen.
