Shri Manikeshwari Pulses

Out here in the Kapnoor Industrial Area, things move at a different pace. Our place at Shri Manikeshwari Pulses covers a few plots, from 198 to 205, so it’s a fairly large space. We deal with pulses, which means there is always a lot of dust in the air and the smell of raw grains. The Iind Stage is a busy part of the industrial zone, and we are right near the Uplaon Cross on Humnabad Road. You’ll see trucks lined up outside our gates most mornings, waiting to drop off loads or pick up sacks for the market. Inside, the machines for cleaning and sorting the pulses hum along all day. It’s a lot of physical labor, moving heavy bags and making sure nothing gets mixed up. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing department. Usually, it’s just the owner or one of the senior staff sitting in the small office at the front, handling the books and taking calls. We've got a good crew of workers who know the rhythm of the place. It’s hard work, especially when the weather gets hot, but it’s what we do. We don’t try to be anything we’re not. We just process the pulses and get them sent out to where they are needed. It’s a straightforward business and we like it that way. We just keep our heads down and get the bags filled.
