Shree Basavalingappa Nisty Memorial Heart Centre

Our place, Shree Basavalingappa Nisty Memorial Heart Centre, is situated at No. 15 and 16 in Lahoti Enclave. We are right on Aiwan-E-Shahi Road, very close to the Gulbarga Railway Station. Being near the station means we see a lot of people traveling in from other towns to visit us. We are also right beside Maharashi Vidya Mandir, so you often hear the school bells or the sounds of kids during the day. The heart centre has been here long enough that most people just call us by the shorter version of our name. The building is solid and has plenty of room for the different departments we run. It’s a serious place because heart issues are serious, but we try to keep the atmosphere calm. The doctors and nurses are busy from early morning until late evening. We don't have any polished corporate speeches here. It's just a group of people working hard to look after patients. The enclave itself is a decent spot, and having the railway station so close is a big help for families coming from further away. We deal with a lot of paperwork and medical charts every day, keeping things organized as best as we can. It is a practical environment where the focus is on the patient sitting in front of us. We have grown to be just another part of the local landscape in Gulbarga.
