Sai Baba Hotel

Sai Baba Hotel is right on the Pda Engineering College Road, inside the Arun Lodge Complex. Since we are so close to the college here in Gulbarga, we get a lot of students coming in. They are always in a hurry or worrying about their exams. We also have people staying at the lodge who need a quick meal. It’s a busy spot. The mornings are usually the most hectic because everyone wants tea and breakfast at the exact same time. We have a small kitchen, but we manage to keep up. I’ve been running this for a few years now. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but the food is what matters. We serve basic stuff that doesn't cost too much. It’s important because students don't have a lot of money to spend. Sometimes the street outside gets very crowded with students' bikes. Gulbarga heat can be quite something, so we keep the water jars full. My nephew helps me at the counter during the peak hours. We don't have any big secrets or special recipes. We just cook what we know how to make. It is a plain place for a plain meal. We open early and close once the lodge guests are settled for the night. That is the daily routine for us here on the college road. It keeps us busy and out of trouble.
