Our office is tucked away inside the ACC Wadi area in Gulbarga. It’s part of the new plant setup here. Gannon Drunkerly And Cop Limited has been operating from this spot for a bit. Being in Karnataka, the weather is often dry and dusty around the plant, but that's just part of the job. We share space with the corporation limited guys. It’s a practical workspace, mostly just desks and a lot of technical drawings lying around. We spend a lot of time on our feet, going back and forth between the office and the site. Gulbarga is a quiet place in some ways, but the plant is always humming. You get used to the noise after a few days. We don't have a lot of fancy furniture. Everything is built for use. We have our tea breaks together. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just wait it out or find something else to do. It’s a very hands-on kind of environment. We don't really do the corporate thing. If someone needs something, they just walk in and ask. There’s no big reception area or anything. We just keep track of the projects and make sure the supplies are coming in. It’s a long way from the big cities, but there is plenty of work to keep us busy every single day. We like the rhythm of the place. It’s honest work in a tough environment.
