Adwin Pharma

Out on Tirlokpur Road, in the village of Rampur Jattan, is where Adwin Pharma is located. It is a bit of a trek from the main town, but we like it that way because it is peaceful. We make medicines here, so the inside of the building is kept quite clean and bright, which is a bit of a contrast to the dusty road outside. There is a lot of coming and going with the delivery vans, and sometimes the narrow roads in Rampur Jattan make it a bit of a squeeze. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that; we just have our staff who show up every morning to run the machines and pack the boxes. You can see the hills in the distance on a clear day, which is a nice view to have when you are taking a breather outside. The work is mostly about following the steps and not taking shortcuts. It can be repetitive, sure, but that’s the nature of pharma work. We have a small canteen where we eat our lunch, and the conversation is usually about local stuff or maybe a bit of cricket. It is just a normal workplace with normal people trying to do a decent job. We don’t use fancy words to describe what we do. We just make the products, check the quality, and send them out.
