Vani Maruthi Driving School

We are right on Railway Station Road in Rajahmundry, just opposite the Electricity Board. It’s been our spot for a long time. People come here when they finally decide it’s time to learn how to drive. We aren't a big fancy operation with a fleet of brand new cars. We have a few reliable vehicles that have seen a lot of miles and a lot of stalled engines. That is just how it goes when you’re learning. Our office is pretty small, mostly just a place to keep the registers and some chairs for when people are waiting their turn. The traffic near the station can be a bit messy, but we think that’s actually good for practice. If you can handle the turns and the honking around here, you can drive anywhere. We sit in the passenger seat and stay patient, even when someone hits the brakes too hard or forgets which way to turn the wheel. We've seen all kinds of nervous faces over the years. Some people get the hang of it in a few days and others take much longer. We don't mind. We just stay open during the day and help whoever shows up. It’s a local business and most of our students come because they live nearby or their cousins told them to come here. We don't do big ads, we just show up and get in the car every morning.
