Union Paints

Union Paints is located over at 7, I.D.A. Expansion. It’s more of an industrial area, so things are a bit different here than in the city markets. We deal with a lot of paint, mostly for bigger jobs and industrial uses, but we see all sorts of people. The building is simple and focused on getting work done. We have a lot of stock coming in and out every week. It gets pretty loud with the trucks moving around the I.D.A. area, but that’s just how it is. We aren't a fancy showroom with bright lights. It’s more of a warehouse feel where you can get what you need and get back to work. We’ve been operating out of this spot for quite a while. The staff here are just regular people who know their way around a paint can. We don't spend money on big ads or shiny brochures. We just focus on keeping the shelves full and the orders moving. Dealing with the expansion area means we meet a lot of workers and contractors. It’s a gritty, hardworking environment. We take things as they come and don't worry too much about being polished. If the floor is a bit dusty, it’s because we’ve been busy. We just keep our heads down and do the job day after day, helping the local industries get the coatings they need to keep their equipment looking okay.
