Surveyor

We’ve been doing survey work here in Kakinada for a while now. My name is on the sign at D Kameswarasrao and that’s where you’ll find the office. It isn’t a fancy place, just where we keep the equipment and the maps. Most days are spent out in the sun, measuring boundaries or checking land levels for folks around town. It’s dusty work and sometimes the heat gets to you, but it’s what we know how to do. People come by when they have a dispute or just need to know exactly where their fence should go. We don't have a big team or a receptionist. If the door is locked, it usually means we’re out in the field with a tripod. The neighborhood around D Kameswarasrao is busy, so parking can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We try to keep things simple. No glossy brochures here, just some old desks and a lot of paper. When someone walks in, they usually just want a straight answer about their property. We provide that. Kakinada is changing fast with new buildings popping up, so there is always someone needing a measurement. It keeps us busy from morning till the light fades. We’ve seen the town grow from our little spot. It’s just honest work, day in and day out. If you need to find us, look for the Surveyor sign near the main road. We’ll be there, unless we're out counting steps on some plot of land.
