Sri Mani Doors

Our shop, Sri Mani Doors, sits at 2-896-5 in the Ashok Nagar area. It is a pretty straightforward place. If you walk inside, the first thing you will notice is the smell of wood and maybe some sawdust on the floor. We don't spend much time polishing the floors because we are always moving doors around. Ashok Nagar is a decent spot to be in, and we have a lot of neighbors who walk past and wave while we are loading the van. We keep various types of doors stacked up against the walls. Some are heavy, some are lighter, and they all just wait there until someone needs them. The office part is just a small corner with a wooden desk that has seen better days. We don't do much in the way of advertising or having a big sign outside. Most people just know we are here because of the stacks of wood. Sometimes the rain makes things a bit difficult when we are trying to keep the inventory dry, so we spend a lot of time moving things away from the door. It is just honest work, really. We get in early, check what needs to be delivered, and spend the day measuring things or talking to people about what fits their house. It gets noisy with the tools sometimes, but that is part of the job. We just stay busy and keep working.
