Pepsi Soft Drink

If you’re driving down Bommuru Road, you’ll see our place at 14/79-6. We’ve been operating Pepsi Soft Drink for a good amount of time. It’s a simple setup, mostly just a front room with big glass-front coolers and a bunch of crates stacked up outside. The road out front gets pretty dusty, especially when the trucks go by, so we’re always having to wipe down the bottles before we hand them over. It's just a regular local business. We start early in the morning, getting the ice ready and making sure the stock is full for the day. Bommuru is a decent place to work, even if it gets really quiet in the middle of the afternoon when the sun is at its peak. We don’t have a big office or a manager in a suit. It’s just us wearing old shirts and moving heavy boxes around. Sometimes the delivery guys stay for a bit to chat about the weather or the traffic. We’ve got a small fan that barely does anything, but we keep it going anyway. People stop their cars right outside the door, grab what they need, and head back out. It’s a straightforward way to make a living. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. We just make sure there’s plenty of cold stuff to go around for whoever passes by. It is just a routine for us now after so many years.
