Parma Kirana Shop

Parma Kirana Shop is a small place located at 23-21 on Undi Road in Balusumoodi. It’s the kind of shop where we know most of the customers by their first names. We sell the usual things people need every day like rice, dal, oil, and soap. The shelves are packed pretty tight, and sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what someone is looking for. We open early in the morning so people can get what they need before they go to work. It’s mostly just us here, weighing out items and packing them into bags. The Undi Road area gets quite busy during the evenings when everyone is heading home. We don’t have any fancy displays or bright lights. It’s just a practical shop for the neighborhood. Sometimes the kids come in for a bit of candy, and the older folks stay for a quick chat while we settle their bills. We keep a ledger for the regulars, which is how things have always been done around here. It’s a simple life, mostly spent behind the counter. We try to keep the stock fresh and the prices fair, though everything seems to be getting more expensive lately. We don’t do any advertising. People know where we are and they know we’ll be here six days a week, sometimes seven if things are busy. It’s just a local kirana shop doing its part in Balusumoodi and we like it.
