Down on Panchayati Road in Kakinada, at number 4-84, that is where you will find the Nimmmana Kiran Kumar Foundation. Kakinada Town-II is a place where most people know each other by name. We are not a big corporate entity with lots of staff. It is more like a group of friends and family trying to do something useful for the town. The building is an older one, which is pretty typical for this part of Kakinada. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy lobby area. Usually, you just walk right in and find one of us sitting at a desk. We spend a lot of time talking to people from the local area. There is always a lot of noise coming from the street, but you get used to it after a while. We don't have a fancy website or a bunch of marketing materials to hand out. We just focus on the tasks we have in front of us. Sometimes we help with small daily things, and other times we take on bigger projects. It really just depends on what is needed that week. We don't have a massive budget to work with. We just use whatever we have very carefully. Kakinada is our home, and we care about what happens to the people here.
