We have been running this internet spot right across from the Night Hotel for a long time. It is a busy area and things get dusty quite quickly. Most of the time, we are out on the street fixing cables or setting up routers in people's houses around the neighborhood. It is not a fancy office. We have some plastic chairs and a desk where we keep the handwritten records. If the net goes down, someone usually comes running in or calls us on the mobile. We try to get to them when we have a free moment. Sometimes the heavy rain messes with the overhead wires, and that keeps us out late into the evening. It is just a small local operation. We know most of the neighbors by now. Being opposite the hotel helps people find us, even if the address sounds a bit repetitive when you say it out loud. We do not do much advertising at all. People just see the sign and come in. We handle the local connections around this block. It is mostly just making sure the signal stays on for everyone. My brother helps out with the wiring when things get really hectic. It is a lot of climbing poles and checking those grey boxes. Sometimes customers get frustrated when things are slow, but that is just how it goes with technology sometimes. We just live and work here in this neighborhood. Not much else to it really. Just keeping people online as much as we can.
