Our place, LASHYA RESORTS PRIVATE LIMITED, is located at 4-79/10 in Srinivasa Nagar, which is out in the Vakalapudi area of Kakinada. It’s in the East Godavari district, and it’s a bit of a different pace than the main city center. We wanted to have a spot that felt a bit more open, which is why we chose this location. It is not a massive luxury resort like you might see in a movie. It’s a practical place with some rooms and a bit of outdoor space. We have a small staff of local people from the nearby villages who help us keep everything running. There is always something to do, whether it is cutting the grass or fixing a leaky pipe in one of the rooms. The salt air from the coast nearby means we have to paint the walls more often than people in the city do. We don't have any big mission statements or corporate values. We just try to make sure that when someone comes to stay, they have a clean room and a working fan. We get a lot of local families who come here for a short break or to host a small event. It gets a bit noisy when there is a party, but most of the time it is fairly quiet around here. We are just a regular business and we don't try to pretend to be anything else. We enjoy the work and we like meeting the people who visit us.
