Operating out of Bhogabirlanka is where Janalakshmi India Micrope Foundation calls home. It is a quiet enough spot, though things get busy when people stop by to ask about what we are doing. We aren't a big operation with hundreds of employees or a flashy office with glass walls. Instead, it is just a simple setup where we handle our day-to-day business. We chose to be here because this is where the people are. Sometimes the roads can be a bit tricky depending on the weather, but we make it work. Most of the folks around here know where to find us if they need to. Our office isn't much to look at, just the basics like desks, chairs, and some old filing cabinets that have seen better days. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to people face to face. It’s hard work and the hours can get long, especially when there is a lot of paperwork to sort through. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to make us look polished. It is just us, trying to stay organized and helpful. Some days are slow and others are completely chaotic, but that is the reality of running a small foundation in a place like Bhogabirlanka. We just take it one day at a time and try to keep things moving in the right direction. Every morning we start early to stay on top of the list.
