Global Marine & Technical Services is based out of Vakalapudi. Our address is Door No.4-289/1 in the Vaidyanagar area. This part of the country is all about the sea and the boats, so that is exactly what we do here. We help out with technical things for marine engines and other ship equipment. It is a small operation. I started it with a friend of mine who knows a lot about heavy machinery. We have a small workshop where we keep our tools and some spare parts. A lot of our work actually happens at the docks or on the boats themselves. The air around here is very salty, so things rust quickly and need a lot of looking after. We are not some giant corporation with hundreds of workers. It is just us trying to keep the local boats running so the fishermen can work. We handle things like pump repairs or fixing the electrical bits on the small ships. Sometimes we get called out late at night if there is an emergency with a motor. It is a lot of manual labor and our hands are always dirty with grease and oil. We do not have a fancy lobby or any air conditioning. If you come by the shop, you will probably find us working on a motor in the back. We have been in Vaidyanagar for a while now. Most people in the local shipping community know us by our names.
