Vedaanjali Paper Crafts

If you walk down Gandhi Nagar, you might stumble upon our little spot where we do all the paper crafts. It’s usually a bit messy because you can’t really work with paper and glue and keep everything perfectly clean at the same time. There are scraps of paper everywhere on the floor and the tables are always full of half-finished projects. We don’t use those big industrial machines that do everything automatically. Instead, it’s mostly just hands and some basic tools like scissors and rulers. Some days we are making small envelopes and other days it might be something bigger for a local event. It’s quiet work, mostly, except for the sound of paper being cut or folded. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who enjoy sitting down and making things. The light in the shop isn't always the best, but we've gotten used to where everything is kept. People in Gandhi Nagar know us as the place that always has colorful bits sitting in the window. We don't really do much advertising because we're usually too busy actually making the crafts. It's nice to see something take shape from just a flat sheet of paper. We stay open until it gets dark, then we tidy up a bit and do it all over again the next morning. It’s a steady kind of life, and it keeps us occupied in a good way. Paper is fragile but you can make strong things if you fold it right.
