Asha Traders

Asha Traders is situated at 1-2-48 on Kuchvari Street. Pithapuram is a quiet enough town, and our street is just one of many where people live and work side by side. We’ve been here for years, and the shop has seen a lot of changes in the neighborhood. It’s a small place, mostly just shelves and a counter where we talk to the people who stop by. We sell various things, mostly whatever the local families need for their cooking. The street is narrow, so you can't really bring big vehicles in, but the neighbors don't mind walking. I usually sit near the front door so I can see who is coming. We don't have any big corporate ideas; we just want to sell our goods and make a living. Sometimes the kids from the street come in to buy something small, and we know all their names. It’s the kind of place where you can leave your door open and someone will watch it for you. We keep our accounts in a ledger and use a simple calculator. Pithapuram has its own pace, and we just follow along with it. Kuchvari Street is our home, and Asha Traders is just part of the landscape here. There’s no rush, no pressure, just the daily task of opening up and greeting the town. It is what it is, a small business on a small street.
