Vishwash Clinic

Our clinic is out on Talwas Road in Karwar, which is part of the Nainava Tehsil in the Bundi district. It’s a quiet area for the most part, though the road gets dusty when the trucks go by. The building is simple and we keep the doors open to catch whatever breeze we can get. Inside, there are a few chairs for people to sit while they wait their turn. We see a lot of folks from the surrounding villages who travel quite a bit to get here. It’s not like those big city hospitals with hundreds of rooms. It’s just a small space where we look at whatever health problems people bring in. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but everyone is patient. We’ve got our basic supplies stocked up on the shelves. Most days start early because people like to come in before the sun gets too hot. The floors are easy to clean, which is good because people bring in a lot of mud during the rainy season. Bundi is a nice place to work, even if it’s a bit out of the way for some. We keep a ledger of all the patients who visit us. It’s mostly routine stuff, but every day is a little different. We don’t have a big sign outside, just enough so people know where we are on the road.
