Springworld Welfare Foundation

We’re over in Kaithal, specifically in the Amar Garh Gamri area. Our foundation works out of a small space care of Tak Chand. It is a very local operation and most of us have lived in Haryana our whole lives. We aren't a big city organization with a lot of money or fancy equipment. We just use what we have to help out the people living around us. The office is very simple, just some basic chairs and piles of paperwork on the tables. We spend a lot more time out in the neighborhood than we do sitting behind a desk. Kaithal is the kind of place where everyone knows everyone else, so news travels by word of mouth. We don’t bother with big ads or a fancy website. If someone needs help, they usually find us by asking their neighbors. It can get very hot in the office during the summer and the old fans don't do much, but we stay busy regardless. We take on all kinds of work, whatever seems most important at the time. It is a bit of a mix. One day we are helping with school supplies and the next we might be looking for food for a family. We don't have a big grand plan, we just react to what is happening. It’s messy and we make mistakes, but we just try to show up every day for our neighbors in 136027.
