S - Home Decorator

We are located at 422/2 Mahadev Colony on Sita Road. It’s a busy enough area and we’ve been here for a good bit of time now. S - Home Decorator is basically what it says on the sign out front. We deal with curtains, paint colors, and trying to make houses look a bit nicer inside. It’s a lot of manual work and looking at fabric samples all day. My brother and I started this because we liked working with our hands. We aren't interior designers with fancy degrees or anything. We just know what looks okay and what doesn't. People come by the shop usually after work to talk about their living rooms or kitchens. The shop is a bit cluttered with samples and rolls of wallpaper but we know where everything is. Sita Road is always noisy with traffic so we keep the door shut mostly. Sometimes we go out to people's houses to measure things up. It’s better to see the space in person anyway. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know the trade. It’s hard work moving furniture around and getting things just right. We’ve seen a lot of changes in the colony over the years. We just keep doing our thing here. Nothing too complicated about it. We’re just regular people trying to make a living and helping neighbors fix up their homes.
