Shree Mahalaxmi Rice Mills

We have been running Shree Mahalaxmi Rice Mills here in Vill Husner for quite some time now. You can find us right on Madhir Road, just off the Main Road where all the local traffic goes through. It is a busy spot but we like it that way. The mill itself is an old building that has seen a lot of seasons. We spend most of our days dealing with the paddy coming in from the nearby fields. There is always a lot of dust in the air when the machines are going but that is just how it is in this line of work. Most of us here grew up in the area so we know the farmers pretty well. They bring their carts and tractors and we get to work. It is not a fancy place by any means. We have some sheds for storage and the main milling area which gets quite loud. Sometimes the power goes out and everything stops, which is frustrating, but we just sit outside and wait for it to come back. We focus on getting the husks off and making sure the grains are clean enough. Our staff is mostly local guys who have been with us for years. We do not have any big corporate office or anything like that. Just a small desk in the corner where we keep the books. If you are driving down Madhir Road you will probably see the piles of sacks waiting to be loaded. That is us.
