Shree Balaji Aarogya Hospital

If you know where the old bus stand is, then you know exactly where we are located. It’s a very convenient spot for anyone coming in from out of town. The buses are always pulling in and out, so there is plenty of noise throughout the day. We are used to it by now. The hospital is right there, so people can just hop off and walk over. Inside, we have our desks set up and chairs for everyone to sit while they wait. It gets dusty because of the road, so we spend a lot of time cleaning. The staff here is a small group. We know each other’s families and what’s going on in the neighborhood. We see patients from all walks of life. Some are just passing through and others have lived here forever. We try to keep the paperwork simple. Nobody likes filling out forms, so we help where we can. The building has some age to it. You might notice a squeaky door or a flickering light sometimes. We fix things as we go. It’s not a five-star hotel, it is a place where people come when they don't feel well. We have basic rooms and the equipment we need to do our jobs. Most days are busy from morning until late at night. We just keep going because that’s the job. People know us by name around here. It’s a decent place to work and a necessary one for the community in this area.
