Satbir Building Material

Our yard is right here in Village Mundhari on Karnal Road. It's not a fancy place, just a big area where we keep all the stuff people need to build houses. Satbir Building Material started small and we've just stayed here because it's where we know everyone. You'll usually see a couple of trucks parked out front and stacks of bricks piled high. We handle cement, sand, and iron bars mostly. It gets pretty dusty when the wind blows across the road, but that's just how it is when you're working with these things every day. We don't have a big office with air conditioning, just a small desk where we keep the books and talk to the drivers. Sometimes the local guys stop by just to chat about the weather or what's being built down the street. We know most of the people around here by name. If the rain comes, things slow down a bit because the ground gets muddy, but we manage. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the district, we just want to make sure the builders nearby get their supplies on time. It’s hard work, lifting bags and moving heavy loads, but we’ve been doing it a long time now. My cousin usually helps with the loading if the regular boys are busy elsewhere. We try to keep things simple and honest without any of that complicated talk you get in the big cities.
