S.A Engineering Works

Started here in Ladwa quite a few years back. The shop is right near the old post office on SK Road. If you are coming from the main market, you will see the HDFC Bank across from us. It gets pretty dusty out here during the day with all the traffic passing by. Inside, we have our machines set up for all the engineering jobs people bring in. It is mostly iron and steel work, welding, and fixing things that broke on tractors or local factory machines. We don't have a big office or anything, just a desk and some chairs where we sit with customers to talk about what they need. Some days are very busy and the noise of the grinders fills up the whole street. Other times, it's just us cleaning the tools and waiting for the next job. Ladwa is a small place so everyone kind of knows where we are. We have seen the town change a lot since we opened. The post office used to be busier than it is now, I think. We just keep our heads down and do the work that comes through the door. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until late evening. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait it out or use the generator. That is just how things go around here. We try to get things done when we say we will, though sometimes parts take a while to arrive.
