Kaithal Provision Store

Kaithal Provision Store has been sitting here at Scf 74 for quite some time now. Sector 15D is a busy area, so there is always something happening outside. Inside, it's mostly quiet until the afternoon rush. We try to stock a bit of everything because people come in asking for the most random things sometimes. One day it's a specific brand of tea, the next it's a particular kind of cleaning spray. We keep all the staples like rice, flour, and sugar in the back where there's more room. The shelves in the front are for the smaller bits. It’s a lot of work keeping track of everything, especially when the deliveries come in late. I usually handle the counter myself, and my nephew helps with the heavy lifting and stacking. We aren't trying to be one of those big fancy supermarkets. This is just a local shop where you can walk in and get what you need for your kitchen. The lighting isn't the brightest, and the floors get dusty with all the foot traffic, but we keep it as clean as we can. It’s just how a neighborhood store should be, I think. People stop by on their way home from work to grab bread or milk. We know most of the neighbors by name. It’s a steady routine that keeps us busy from morning until we pull the shutters down at night. It is hard work but it is ours and it keeps the family going.
