Running Guru Nanak Enterprises takes up most of our time out here on Khurana Road. If you know the area, you’ve probably seen us right near the 33 Kv Sub Station. It’s a busy spot with all those big power department trucks coming and going all day long. The road gets quite dusty when the wind picks up, but we’re used to it by now. Most of our days are spent just handling whatever work comes through the door. It’s not a fancy office or anything, just a practical place where we get things done. Sometimes people get lost looking for the substation and end up asking us for directions. We don’t really mind helping them out. It’s just a local thing. My cousin helps out with the daily tasks, and we just try to keep things moving. There is a tea stall down the road that keeps us going during the long afternoons. We aren't big on those glossy brochures or fancy websites. If someone needs something, they usually just walk in or give us a call on the mobile. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a bit over the years, with more shops popping up, but the substation stays the same. The constant noise from the transformers is just background sound to us now. We usually open up early before the heat gets too bad in the summer months. It’s just how we live and work here. We just focus on the task at hand and try to be helpful.
