We are Gurnam Dal Mill Pvt Ltd, out here in Village Kranala. It’s a quiet place, part of the Kahib area. Most of the people around here are involved in farming in one way or another. Our mill is a solid structure, built to last. We process dal, which means there’s always a bit of dust in the air and the sound of machinery in the background. It’s not the kind of job where you stay clean, but it’s good work. Village Kranala is small, so everyone knows where the mill is. We get shipments of raw pulses from the local fields and turn them into something people can actually cook with. Kahib can be hard to get to if the roads are bad after the rain, but we make it work. We have a small crew of workers who have been with us for years. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy brochures. This is just a place where work happens. We keep the machines oiled and the bags stacked high. Sometimes the harvest is good, sometimes it isn't, and we just deal with what comes. It’s a practical business. We focus on the product and let the quality speak for itself without shouting about it. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in the back, checking the scales or loading up a truck.
