I am Naveen Kumar, and I handle the daily runnings for Fugro Geotech Pvt. Ltd. from our office in V.P.O. Rawa. We are located in the Kurukshetra district, right in the heart of Haryana. My father, Krishan Gopal, has been a major part of this journey, and we still run things with that family feel in mind. Being in a village like Rawa means we are part of the local community. We do not have a polished reception desk or a shiny lobby; it is more about getting out into the fields and doing the actual work. The weather in Haryana can be pretty extreme, with freezing winters and those burning summer days, but we have lived here all our lives and are used to it. Much of our time is spent looking at the earth and making sure everything is solid for construction. It is not the kind of job that gets much attention in the news, but it is necessary for anyone trying to build. Our office space is usually crowded with maps and old files we have collected over the years. We keep things simple and do not care much for corporate speeches. If you stop by, you will likely find us having a cup of tea and talking about the next site we have to visit. We have been doing this for a long time and like the quiet life here in the village.
