Ambika Jewellers

Our shop, Ambika Jewellers, is right on Punjab Hotel Road in the Main Bazar. It is a very lively part of town. There is always someone shouting, a horn honking, or the smell of food from the nearby stalls. We’ve been part of this market for a long time. The shop itself is pretty narrow, like most of the buildings around here. We make use of every inch of space we have. We keep the gold and the silver in the front cases and our tools in the back. It’s a busy life. We open early because the market starts early, and we stay late because that’s when people finish work and come to browse. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements. The sign above the door is a bit old, but it does the job. People know us for being straightforward. We don’t try to push people into buying things they can't afford. That doesn't feel right to us. We’d rather you leave happy with a small repair than unhappy with a big purchase. Sometimes the shop gets dusty from the street, so we are always wiping things down. It's just a regular local shop run by regular people. If you are walking through the Main Bazar, you will see us there near the hotel road. Stop in if you have a minute.
