Om Bricks

Our brickyard is located in Mohania, right near the Ramgarh Market. It’s a convenient spot because everyone knows where the market is, so they can find us without much trouble. We spend our days surrounded by piles of bricks and the smell of the fires from the kiln. It is a dusty environment, but that is part of the trade. We have a few simple sheds where we keep our tools and where we sit down to take a break. Most of the time, we are out in the yard, supervising the loading of trucks or checking the quality of the latest batch. The market nearby brings a lot of people through this area, so there is always some movement. We don't have any fancy marketing or a big sales team. People just come to us because they see the stacks of bricks from the road. We talk to the truck drivers and the local builders who need materials for their projects. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, like when the monsoon rains turn the yard into a big puddle of mud. But we just wait for it to dry and get back to work. It’s a straightforward business. We make bricks, we sell them, and we try to keep things running smoothly. Our family has been involved in this for a while, and we just stick to the basics of the work.
