Lachman Dass Ram Krishan Bajaj

We are Lachman Dass Ram Krishan Bajaj, located right in the middle of Bahmani Bazar. This business has been around for a long time, passed down through the family. The shop is old and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are used to it. We sell a variety of goods that people in the bazar need. It is always busy outside with people walking past and scooters honking. Inside, it is a bit darker and cooler. We have tall wooden shelves that go all the way to the ceiling. You have to use a ladder to get the stuff from the top. We spend a lot of time talking to the regulars who have been coming to us for years. It is more about the relationships than anything else. Sometimes we sit on the stools out front and watch the market. There is a lot of paperwork to keep track of, mostly handwritten in old ledgers. We don't really bother with new technology much because the old way still works for us. It’s a simple life in the bazar. We open up early and stay until the sun goes down. People know where to find us if they need something. It’s just how things have always been here, and we don't see any reason to change it now after all these years.
