Akshar Agricultural Works

Akshar Agricultural Works is sitting right near the Bhavnagar Highway in Atkot. It is a busy spot because of all the trucks and tractors passing through Kailashnagar all day long. Most of the time, we are just here working on whatever farm equipment needs fixing or making something new that the local farmers asked for. The wind blows a lot of dust from the highway into the shop, so we spend a good bit of time cleaning off the machines and tools. It is not a fancy place at all. Just a regular workshop with grease on the floors and the sound of metal hitting metal. People stop by because they know where we are located, and usually, they are in a hurry to get back to their fields. We have been in this part of Atkot for a while now. The sun gets pretty hot in the afternoons, so we try to get the heavy lifting done early in the morning before the heat really kicks in. It is just a few of us here doing the daily work. We don't have a big office or anything, just a desk with some old ledgers and a phone that rings when someone is stuck on the road. It is simple work but it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. We hope the rains come at the right time for everyone this year too.
