Gcomps India is based out here in Mohan Pur, which is part of the Ulakothi district. It’s a bit of a trek if you’re coming from the bigger towns, but we like the pace here. Mohan Pur is the kind of place where everyone knows everyone’s business. We’ve got our setup in a building that’s been around for a long time. It’s not fancy. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it works for what we do. Dealing with things in a district like Ulakothi means you have to be patient with things like the internet or the power sometimes. We just deal with it as it comes. Gcomps India isn't some massive operation with hundreds of employees. It’s just us. We spend our mornings getting the place ready and our evenings making sure everything is locked up tight. Most people who drop by are locals or people passing through the district. There’s a certain way of doing things here that’s different from the city. We don't have a big sign with flashing lights. It’s just a small place in Mohan Pur where we do our daily work. We’ve been here a while and it feels like home now. You get used to the sounds of the neighborhood after a bit. It’s honest work in a quiet part of the world and we don't mind the slower pace at all.
