Thorat Hospital

Thorat Hospital is situated right on the main road, which makes it a very visible part of the neighborhood. You can't really miss us if you are driving or walking by. Being on the main road means we hear the sounds of the street all day long. There is the constant honking and the sound of people talking as they pass. The hospital itself is a straightforward building. We have a reception area where people check in and then some rooms in the back for the actual medical work. The furniture is mostly functional and nothing special to look at. We have a few plants near the entrance, but they struggle a bit with the dust from the road. Our days are filled with people coming in for all sorts of health reasons. Because we are so accessible, we get a lot of walk-ins. The floors are washed every morning, but by noon you can see the footprints from everyone who has come through. We don't have a huge team, so everyone does a bit of everything, from answering the phone to helping with patients. It’s a busy life here. We don't spend much time on decorations or making things look polished. We just focus on the patients who are waiting in the chairs. The light from the street comes in through the front doors, making the lobby bright during the day.
