Plus Classes

Plus Classes is located right in Madhavnagar. It’s a quiet enough spot compared to the main city center of Sangli, which is nice when you’re trying to concentrate on studies. We have been running things here for a bit, and most of the neighbors know us by now. The street outside gets a little crowded in the afternoons when the schools let out, and that is usually when our first batch starts arriving. We don’t have a lot of bells and whistles here. It is just a couple of rooms with chairs and a white board that sometimes stains a bit if the markers are old. We handle everything ourselves, from cleaning the place in the morning to locking up late at night. There’s a big tree just outside the main door that gives some shade, which is a blessing in April and May. Sometimes the electricity goes off for an hour, and we just open the windows and keep going with the natural light. It’s a very local vibe. You won’t find any glossy brochures on the tables. We just use plain notebooks and the standard textbooks. Most of the parents who come by are people we see at the market anyway. It’s just a regular part of the Madhavnagar community. We try to keep things organized, but it’s a busy life and sometimes the registers get a bit messy. It feels like home after you’ve been here a few hours and gotten used to it.
