Our place, Jay Mata Di Fashions Pvt. Ltd., is spread across Plot No. 36, 37, and 38 in Tantithaiya. It is located right near the J. B. Weight Bridge on the Surat-Bardoli Road. It is a pretty good-sized area since we have three plots joined together. There is plenty of room for all the garment work we do. Being near the weight bridge means we see a lot of heavy vehicles passing by all the time. The dust from the road comes in sometimes, so we are always cleaning the surfaces. It is a bit of a drive from the main city, but it is quieter out here in some ways. We have different sections for different parts of the fashion production. One corner is for cutting, another for finishing. It is not a fancy setup, just a functional workplace where we get things done. We have a small area where we sit and have tea during breaks. The Surat-Bardoli Road is quite busy, so we usually hear the horns and engines throughout the day. We have been at these plots for a while and the locals in Tantithaiya know our building. It is a simple life of making clothes and keeping the business moving along. We just focus on the work in front of us and try to stay cool when the weather gets really hot in the summer.
