Siddharth Marble & Granites

Our place is right on Kadodara Road in Kumbhariya. It’s a busy stretch, so there’s always the sound of trucks and horns in the background. We handle a lot of marble and granite here, and the yard is usually pretty full. You’ll see piles of stone everywhere you look. It’s not a polished showroom; it’s more of a working yard where things get moved around by hand or with the crane. The dust gets on everything, including our clothes and the old desk in the corner. We start the day early before it gets too hot. Most of the guys here have been working with stone for years, so they know the difference between a good slab and a bad one just by looking. We don’t spend much on advertising or anything like that. People just know we’re here on the main road. Sometimes a customer comes in looking for something specific for their kitchen or a floor, and we spend time digging through the stacks to find it. It’s physical work and it can be tiring when the sun is beating down on the concrete. We keep a big water cooler near the entrance because everyone stays thirsty. The office is just a small room where we keep the books and handle the paperwork. It’s a straightforward business. We show up, move some stone, and try to keep things moving. We've been at this Kadodara Road location for quite a while now, and the routine hasn't changed much over the years.
