Shubham Building Materials

We are located out in Baharauli Village, which is part of the Lambhua Block in Sultanpur District. You can find us pretty easily because we are situated right near the post office. It’s a quiet area mostly, but we stay busy with all the small building projects going on in the village and the nearby towns. We sell all sorts of materials people need to put up a house or a simple garden wall. Sand, bricks, and bags of cement—the usual things you'd expect. The yard is usually full of piles of stuff. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but we know where every single item is kept. We’ve lived in this district our whole lives, so we know most of the people who come in to buy things. Being near the post office means there's always someone passing by on their way to do chores. Sometimes they just stop to chat for a bit before asking about the prices of bricks. We don't have a computer system or any digital trackers. We just write everything down in a big ledger with a pen. It works for us and we haven't lost a record yet. The weather affects us quite a bit out here in the village. When it rains, the ground gets very muddy and moving the heavy delivery trucks is a real pain. But we manage. It’s a family-run kind of thing. My brother and I do most of the hauling and stacking.
