Shivaani Traders

Shivaani Traders is our small place. You can find us tucked inside the Amar Jyoti Oil Mill Compound in Kadi. It’s easy to find if you’re familiar with where the mill is. We’ve been working from this spot for some time. Dealing with trading goods takes up most of our hours. Kadi is a good town for this. The compound is always buzzing because of the oil mill. We just fit right into the middle of it. Sometimes the yard gets crowded with tractors and wooden carts. There isn't a big sign out front. Most people find us through word of mouth or by just walking in. It’s simple trading. We open up early and stay until the work’s finished. The office is small and the desk is usually covered in old files. It’s a working office, not a showroom. We know most of the neighbors around the compound. A couple of local guys help us with the heavy loading. It’s basic work and we don’t try to make it sound like more than it is. Kadi has its own slow rhythm and we’re just a part of that. If someone needs a trade settled, they come in and we talk. Nothing’s too complicated. Shivaani Traders just does its bit. It gets hot in the summer but we keep a fan going. It works for us. Kadi is where we belong. It isn't a massive operation, but it keeps us busy and the community knows they can find us here.
