Keyan Traders

Our place, Keyan Traders, is at 49 Raj Mahal in Rajcity. It’s right on Karannagar Road. The building is easy to spot if you’re looking for the number. We have a decent sized room where we keep everything. Most of the day is spent checking what came in and what needs to go out. The traffic on Karannagar Road is always moving, so there is a constant hum of engines outside. We have a few chairs for visitors, but usually, we are too busy to sit much. The floor gets swept every morning, but by noon, there’s dust again. That’s just life on a main road. We keep our ledgers in a locked drawer. Everything is done quite simply here. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know the ropes. We drink a lot of tea and talk about the weather while we work. It’s a comfortable routine. We know most of the people who walk past our door. Sometimes they stop in just to say hello. We don’t mind. It makes the day go faster. We don’t have a website or anything like that. We just rely on being here when people need something. It’s worked for us so far and we don't see any reason to change it. Every evening we lock up the heavy door and head home, ready to do it again tomorrow.
