You can find J P Polymers over on the Kadi-Kalol Road, right in the 8/A GIDC section. We are directly opposite Madhusudan Ceramic, so we are pretty easy to spot if you are looking for that landmark. Our work involves a lot of plastic and polymer processing. The smell of melting plastic is pretty strong when the extruders are running, but we don't mind it much after all this time. We have several machines that run for most of the day, turning out various plastic components and parts. It is a noisy environment with the cooling fans and the grinding machines going all at once. We keep the place fairly organized, but it is still a factory at the end of the day, so there are scraps and pallets everywhere. Our staff is mostly made up of local people who live nearby. We don't have a big corporate structure or a bunch of managers in suits. Usually, the person who picks up the phone is the same person who helps load the truck in the afternoon. We focus on getting the dimensions right and making sure the batches are consistent. Sometimes we have to stay late if a machine breaks down or if we have a big deadline to meet. It is a practical business without any unnecessary fluff. We just make the parts and send them where they need to go.
