Dev-Pet Containers Pvt. Ltd. is located right at unit 29 in the G.I.D.C. area. We are directly across from the Sarswati Oil Mill, which is a big landmark around here. It’s an industrial zone, so it’s not exactly pretty, but it’s where we get things done. We make PET containers of all sorts. The machines run pretty much all day, and it can get a bit warm inside the shed. We’ve got a small crew of guys who have been with us for years. We aren't much for fancy words or big meetings. We just look at the orders and start the production line. Sometimes the delivery trucks get stuck in the narrow lanes of the G.I.D.C., but we always figure it out. It’s a practical business. We deal with a lot of local companies that need packaging. The floor is usually covered in some scrap plastic before we sweep it up at the end of the shift. We don't have a big corporate office, just a small corner with a desk where we handle the billing. It’s honest work. We’ve been in this same spot for a long time and the neighbors at the oil mill are good people. We just keep our heads down and keep the machines moving. Every day is about meeting the numbers and making sure the quality of the plastic is up to the usual mark.
