Crystel Glazes

Out in the Mehsana district, you can find us on the road that goes between Kaiyal and Shedhavi. We are Crystel Glazes. Being in Ta- Kadi means we are a bit removed from the really crowded industrial zones, which is nice. Our work is mostly about the glazes that go on top of tiles and ceramics. It’s a bit of a science, but we don't make it sound more complicated than it is. We mix things, test them on small pieces of clay, and see how they look after they’ve been heated up. Our workspace is usually covered in jars and bags of different powders. It’s not the cleanest job in the world, but it’s interesting enough. We have a few people from the local area who work with us. We aren't a big company with a lot of rules and layers of management. If something needs to be done, we just do it. The commute along the P. O. Kaiyal- Shedhavi Road is pretty quiet, which gives us time to think. We don't have a fancy reception area. Usually, if a visitor comes, they just find us in the back working on a batch. We try to be helpful and give straight answers about what our glazes can do. It’s a steady business and we’ve been here long enough to know most of the regulars. We just focus on our work and keep things moving.
