Bajaj Tiles

Our shop is up on the second floor of the G.G.S Station building in Kaiyal. It is Shop Number 206. Being on the second floor means we have to be careful about how we move the tile samples around. Tiles are heavy and the stairs can be a bit much if you are doing it all day. We are right in the Nandasan area of Kadi, which is part of Mehsana district. It’s a busy spot near the station. People stop by while they are out doing their other errands. We have a lot of different patterns leaning against the walls. It is a bit crowded inside the shop because we try to keep a lot of variety on display. Sometimes the dust from the road comes in through the windows. The lighting isn't the best, but you can see the colors well enough during the day. We don't have a lot of staff, usually just one or two of us here to answer questions. It gets very hot in Mehsana during the summer months, so the shop feels like an oven by mid-afternoon. We spend a lot of time on the phone checking with the warehouse to see what is actually in stock. It is a simple operation. We just open the doors, sweep the floor, and wait for the customers to come up the stairs. It’s been this way since we moved into this building. We just want to get the orders right and keep things moving.
