Mamatha Farm

If you head out to 203, East Coast Road, you will find us located in the Quaide Millath Nagar area of Puliyangudi. Since we are a farm, our day starts pretty early before the sun gets too high in the sky. It’s a lot of outdoor work and we don't spend much time inside an office. The ground can get quite dry during the summer months, so we are always checking on the water and making sure things are growing like they should. It’s a peaceful spot away from the heavy noise of the main city center, though the traffic on the ECR can get a bit loud during the holiday seasons. We have a small gate that we keep open during the day so people know we are around. There is always something that needs fixing, like a fence or a shed door that won't close right. We aren't a big commercial operation with hundreds of workers. It is just a few of us who know the land and do the daily chores to keep the place running. Sometimes the harvest is good and sometimes the weather makes things difficult, but that is just how farming goes. We have been at this address for quite some time now and the locals know us by name. It is honest work and we enjoy being out in the fresh air every day. We just take each season as it comes.
