You can find our small factory right near the railway gate on Rayachoti Road in Kadapa. We are on the street right beside the Hanuman temple. It’s easy to find if you listen for the trains passing by. We make bulbs for cars and bikes. It’s a specific kind of work that requires a lot of patience. The glass and filaments are delicate, so we have to be careful. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a practical space where we can run our machines. It gets quite loud when the railway gate is down and the traffic builds up outside. We start early in the morning before it gets too hot. There’s a small group of workers who handle the assembly and the packing. We don’t have a fancy office or a sales team. Usually, if someone wants to buy something, they just walk in and talk to us. We’ve been here for a good while, and most of the locals know where we are. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the workspace. It’s important for the bulbs to stay clean. We just focus on getting the orders finished and making sure the filaments are set right. It's a decent way to make a living here in Kadapa. We hope the power stays on long enough to finish the day's batch.
