Raveendra Stores

Raveendra Stores is located in the K M B Complex, right there at 54/789. If you know Kadapa, you know the Byepass Road gets really busy, especially with the trucks going past at all hours. We are just one of the shops in the complex. It is a bit of a walk from the main center, but being on the bypass helps because people traveling through often stop in. I keep the shop open quite late most days. The space inside is not huge, so things are stacked pretty high up to the ceiling. You have to be careful when pulling something off the bottom shelf. It is mostly just household items and small things people forget to buy at the bigger markets. Kadapa can get really hot in the summer, so the shade inside the complex is a relief for everyone who ducks in. I usually have the radio playing in the background while I wait for customers. It is a simple life running a store like this. You get to know the truck drivers and the locals who live in the apartments nearby. Sometimes the delivery guys struggle with the parking out front because of the narrow space, but we manage somehow. It is not a polished place, just a regular shop where we do our work and go home. The floor needs a sweep pretty often because of the grit from the road.
